What is Fluorite?
Fluorite is a calcium fluoride mineral (CaF₂) known for its cubic crystal structure and stunning translucency. Often called the "most colorful mineral in the world," fluorite occurs in a spectrum of hues including purple, green, blue, yellow, and even colorless. Some specimens show multiple colors in one crystal, creating dramatic patterns that look almost hand-painted.
A Rainbow of Colors
Each color of fluorite has a unique charm and origin:
Purple Fluorite: The most common, often associated with spiritual energy and clarity.
Green Fluorite: Believed to have healing properties, it symbolizes growth and renewal.
Blue Fluorite: Rare and highly prized for its calming presence.
Yellow Fluorite: Said to enhance creativity and confidence.
Colorless (Clear) Fluorite: Represents purity and mental clarity.
